Slow agglutination
Salmonella Abortusequi is a serovar of Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica that primarily affects horses and donkeys. Salmonella Abortusequi is not commonly reported in the UK, and cases of abortion specifically caused by this serovar are rare. In the host-adapted serotype Abortusequi, pathogen transmission occurs orally; rarely through mating.
