Description |
|
First we carry out DNA Profiling, then DNA is compared it against about the breeds in our database. The result will be an assignment probability to each breed in our database.
An assignment probability of 80% and above to a particular breed means that it is highly likely that the cat is a purebred of this breed.
An assignment probability of between 40% and 60% to a particular breed means that it is highly likely that one parent of the cat is a purebred of this breed, or the two parents are first generation half-breed cross of this breed.
An assignment probability of less than 30% to a particular breed, means that it is highly probable that this cat is neither a purebred cat nor a half-breed of this breed.
